Juan, king of poets of Peru, farthest bound
And the poet of Huancayo, so crowned.
Behold, the fires of your words are now drawn
Bring forth your poems, we beacken at dawn.
By some new echoes in the cosmic tone--
On Earty, you have risen to heights unknown.
